Resignation of Non-Executive Director

Ramco Energy plc ("Ramco" or the Company)

Ramco, the Aberdeen-based independent exploration company, announces the resignation of Malcolm Hay as a Non – Executive Director, with effect from today’s date.

Mr Hay is stepping down from the Ramco Board to pursue his other business interests.

Mr Hay holds 26,627 shares in Ramco, and options over 70,000 shares, which will remain exercisable until 29th July 2015.

Steve Remp, Ramco’s Chairman, said

“Malcolm joined the Board almost two years ago during a very difficult period for the Company, but with the recent ruling by the Texas Supreme Court, in the Tenge case, the cloud of the litigation over the Company has now been lifted.  I would like to thank Malcolm for his invaluable input over that period in helping guide the Company though its difficulties.  We wish Malcolm every success in his other ventures”
